Specifications:
1) Origin: root of Raphanus saliousl.
2) Appearance: purple red powder.
3) Description: A natural red pigment extracted from Radish root. It is
easily soluble in water and ethanol water liquor, but not soluble
in acetone or oil.
4) Characteristics: red with a little purple hue in water when pH is below
6 and the absorbance peak is 520nm. The color changes from red to
purple and to unstable blue when pH rises from 6 to 12. Good dyeing
ability to starch and protein in acid solution.
5) Composition: Pelargonidin (anthocyanin).
6) Application: Add desired pigment to some water or ethanol solution and
stir to get an equal red solution. Heat when hard to dissolve. For
best result, stir under 80oC.
